The Office of Planning, Design and Construction (OPDC) is responsible for the planning, design, construction, and revitalization of all Smithsonian facilities, including 19 museums, nine research centers, and the National Zoo. We oversee and execute a wide variety of design, construction and real estate services every year for multiple stakeholders across eight states, the District of Columbia and in Panama.
